Thursday, 7 July 2016. The fourth day in Volodarka# GOCAMP#

The fourth day in Volodarka! It is impossible to find words to describe everything that happened that day! But definitely we'll never forget it! As usual in the morning we had morning exercises, had breakfast and went for our English classes! We spend our morning with Michael, from Egypt, and  Fonseca, from Mexico! Michael's really kind and optimistic. He told a lot about Egyptian history and culture! He showed us his flag and explained its meaning! He also brought Egyptian coins and kids were really excited! Fonseca' s funny and cheerful! He helped us to prepare for our evening performance a lot! And he even agreed to sing and dance with us together! Then we asked Lila and Michael to join us! And they agreed too! Believe it or not but our English teachers Andrew Golutyak and Juliya Bogdanova joined us as well! Can you imagine what a success it was ?!

Morning exercises with Nika, our group leader!

Wednesday, 6 July 2016. The third day in Volodarka# GOCAMP#

The third day was amusing! Firstly, in the morning we had English classes. We were preparing our play about Greek Gods. Lara helped us with our script. And Lilya from New York helped us to practice our speaking skills and taught kids how to behave on the stage! She is really good at acting!
Secondly, this day it was Patriot's day in our camp!

We had a quest, a singing contest of Ukrainian songs and a lot of dances! "Grechaniky" were really awesome! The most eccentric was the process of drawing rushniky!

Tuesday, 5 July 2016. The second day in Volodarka# GOCAMP#

Next day was as great as the previous one! Or even better! I'll tell you about the day of the second group "Golfstream".
We had our first meeting with goglobal volunteer Lara from Indiana. We played memory games and got acquainted with kids from Severodonezk!

Then we had a great opening concert "Welcome to the Happyland!".
In the evening kids had a great dancing party "Together again".

And right before going to bed there was a really special event for leaders and kids, their first "Zagonova svicha duhovnogo ednannya". And each day kids and leaders gathered with a candle to discuss everything that had made them happy or sad.

Monday, 4 July 2016. Our arrival and our first day in GOCAMP!

Monday, 4 July 2016

Of course, we were really tired and exhausted after a long train&bus trip but excitement prevailed! We had breakfast, unpacked our things quickly and our wonderful week started!

Our students were devided into two groups. Students of the 8th and10th grade were in the first group. And students of the 7th grade were in the second one!

But we weren't sad as we'd got unbelievable leaders of our groups Nika and Vika, Toma and Ilona!

The first challenge was to choose groups' names and to make mottos! And our students coped with that perfectly! The name of the first group was "EASTWIND", and the second group chose the name "GOLFSTREAM".

In the evening there was a little party with dances for kids! Everyone was satisfied!

Home sweet home! Sweet Mariupol! We've spent an amazing week in Volodarka! Each day's better than previous one! Now we are ready to share our emotions with you!

Sunday 3 July 2016

Our long but pleasant journey!

We are having a great fun! We are playing games, listening to music, watching films and talking a lot!

3 July 2016

Today we'll start our train-and-bus journey to Volodarka!

It's long, but we are optimistic and in a joyful mood anyway)))

Volodarka is a little town or almost a village in Kiev’s region It’s really pretty in summer. This village has a beautiful nature! What's more, we are going to meet Lilya again! So we believe we'll be having a great rest and spend wonderful time with all-over-the-world volunteers! We are going to be there for a week! And the plan is to share our experience and post as much photos and videos as possible! Wish us "Have a safe journey!")))
